First, you need a Gundam Weathering Marker
Then, Get your sharpest hobby knife
*make sure that there is someone that is older than you that can help cut things for you.
and last but not the least. your favourite scratching tool, the sandpaper :) any size of grain will do! so lets get started.
scratch the part of the gunpla you want to weather |
after scratching it press your gundam weathering marker to any surface that can hold it. |
let the weathering marker leak until the ink comes out |
after pressing and leaking process, take your cotton bud and let it absorb the ink |
Tap or brush it down on the sanded part |
after brushing it, take a clean cotton bud to remove some ink and to apply additional effects to it. |
tadah, but its not yet done, you can experiment on weathering by mixing two or more weathering marker inks, or just put them on the top of each other to make it more dramatic. |
the scratching part is done. Just put some weathering marker on it and you're good to go! just follow the previous steps on the top. |
yep it's done! |
